Introduction

ThumbBlox is an independent AI image tool. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you create game thumbnails and how we use, store, and protect it.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

1. Account Information: Your name, email address, and other details you provide when creating an account.
2. Creation Data: Prompts, selected themes, generation settings, visibility choices, reference images, generated images, and conversation history needed to provide the thumbnail service.
3. Usage and Device Data: Information about feature use, browser type, device type, and error events used to maintain security and performance.
4. Cookies and Local Storage: Data used for sign-in, language and theme preferences, and locally saved anonymous drafts.
5. Payment Information: Billing details handled by trusted payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• Process transactions and send related confirmations.
• Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
• Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse.
• Process prompts and images through the AI providers configured for the service.
• Screen prompts for prohibited content before they reach an AI model, as described in our Terms of Service.
• Publish images, original prompts, and basic generation settings in the Community Gallery when a creation is designated public.

Public and Private Creations

The visibility control beside the Generate button tells you how a new creation will be handled:

• Free creations are public by default and cannot be switched to private without paid access. Their generated image, original prompt, and basic settings (such as platform, style, format, and resolution) may appear in the Community Gallery.
• Paid creators default to private while they have active, unexpired purchased credits. They may choose to make an individual creation public before generating it.
• Existing creations made before this policy and feature launch remain private unless they were explicitly designated public.

The Community Gallery does not display your name, email address, account identifier, payment information, or uploaded reference images. Do not include personal, confidential, or third-party private information in a prompt you submit as public.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited cases:

• With service providers who help us operate the service, under confidentiality agreements.
• With AI and storage providers when needed to process prompts, generate images, and deliver files.
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.

Categories of Service Providers

Depending on how you use the service, your data may be processed by providers in these categories:

• Payment processing: payment providers such as Stripe, Creem, or PayPal handle billing. We never receive or store full card numbers.
• Content moderation: before any image is generated, your prompt text is sent to Creem's Content Moderation API together with a pseudonymous identifier so the request can be audited. This screening is mandatory and cannot be opted out of while using the generator.
• Image generation: your prompts and reference images are sent to the AI image-generation providers that power the service in order to produce your thumbnails.
• File storage: generated images and uploads are stored with cloud object-storage providers (S3-compatible storage such as Cloudflare R2).
• Email delivery: transactional emails (verification, receipts, notices) are sent through an email delivery provider.

Data Retention

• Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized after account closure, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
• Generated images and prompts are kept so you can revisit and refine past work; deleting them from your workspace removes them from active systems, with backups expiring on a rolling basis.
• Public Gallery entries remain visible until the underlying creation or account is deleted, the entry is removed for policy reasons, or you ask us to remove it. Removal from active systems may take a short time to propagate through caches and backups.
• Anonymous local drafts live only in your browser's storage and never reach our servers until you sign in and generate.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Your Rights

You may access, update, export, or delete your personal information. You may also remove anonymous drafts by clearing this site's local storage and request removal of a public Gallery entry by contacting us with the relevant image URL and account email. Use account settings or contact us to make a request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
